Cypress Rounds

Cypress is a durable timber with high termite resistance, making these Cypress Rounds ideal for feature poles internally, verandah & pergola posts, bollards, fencing, landscaping and playgrounds.  It also provides a solution for organic horticultural purposes, such as vineyard posts etc. in that it contains no chemical treatment but still has high natural durability meaning that it will give many years of reliable, natural service.  

Cypress is a Durability Class 1 timber (above ground), and a Durability Class 2 timber for in-ground applications.
Cypress is naturally durable (ie: no preservative treatment) due to its high oil/resin content.

Being unseasoned, it is recommended that cypress be end sealed immediately after docking, to reduce end splitting, with "Mobilcer 'M' Wax Emulsion" by Mobil Oil Australia or similar.
If material is to be coated (eg: oil, paint, etc) then this coating can be used as an end sealer.
This can be applied liberally and may require several coats.
